What is the black plastic ring for on my Flavour Shaker™?
The black ring is a sealing ring and it is important that you never try and use your Flavour Shaker™ without it. It stops ingredients leaking out and helps to ensure that the Flavour Shaker™ is securely fastened.
Can I put my Flavour Shaker™ in the dishwasher?
Yes the Flavour shaker™ can be washed in a dishwasher but only on the top shelf. Although the item is dishwasher safe, it is strongly recommended that the sealing ring is removed (as shown) and washed by hand in warm soapy water and rinsed thoroughly. Replace sealing ring after cleaning.
Do I need to chop up ingredients like garlic cloves before I put them in the Flavour Shaker™?
No it is not necessary to do this, the Flavour Shaker™ is designed to do all the work.
How much garlic can I crush at one time?
A maximum of 2 cloves really. If you put too much in at once you will jam the ball. Try adding a little splash of olive oil in too it will help to lubricate it.
